During the following decades, thousands of Koreans were baptized, and in 1973 the first stake in mainland Asia was organized in Seoul, South Korea. There are currently over 88,000 members, 12 Stakes and 60 wards. There are 3 missions in South Korea, Seoul, Seoul South and Busan.
